A Tune-Up Backed by a Real Guarantee

What's included in a tune-up, and is it backed by a guarantee?

A tune-up means one of our technicians cleans your unit, clears out debris, and checks every part of the system for wear. If we find something that needs attention, we'll tell you what it is and what it costs before we touch it. The work is backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee, with a 1-year warranty on repairs standard, extended to 2 years for Club Advantage members.

Why Is My Energy Bill Going Up?

Why is my energy bill going up?

A few things usually drive this: a dirty air filter making your system work harder, a refrigerant leak dragging down efficiency, or an older unit that's just not running the way it used to. A missed tune-up can let any of these go unnoticed for months. Regular maintenance, like the twice-a-year tune-ups included with Club Advantage, catches this early and keeps your system running at the efficiency it's supposed to.

Everything Else Customers Ask

Who owns Lee's Air, Plumbing, & Heating? â–¾
Thomas Howard owns Lee's Air, Plumbing & Heating. He's a Fresno native and has led the company through its growth across Central and Northern California.
Does Lee's run background checks on employees? â–¾
Yes. Every technician who comes into your home or business has passed a background check first, so you can trust who's walking through your door.
Do you offer free estimates for HVAC or AC replacement? â–¾
Yes. If you're weighing a new HVAC system or AC replacement, we'll come out and give you a free estimate before you commit to anything.
Do you offer financing? â–¾
Yes. We work with financing partners like GreenSky, GoodLeap, and FortiFi so a new HVAC or plumbing system doesn't have to be paid for all at once. Visit our Financing page or contact us to see what fits your budget.
What's your process for installing a new HVAC system? â–¾
A comfort advisor comes to your home, looks at the space, and puts together a no-cost proposal built around what you actually need. Once you pick an option and sign off, we schedule the install, order equipment sized for your home, and our install team handles the rest. On the last day, we schedule a HERS test, which California requires by law to verify the work.
Do you install water heaters? â–¾
Yes. We install, repair, and maintain water heaters, and we can help you figure out which unit actually fits your home and how much hot water you use day to day.
What plumbing services do you offer? â–¾
We handle plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installs for homes and businesses: leak detection and repair, faucet and garbage disposal installs, toilet installs and repairs, tank and tankless water heaters, water pipe repairs, shower valve repairs, and hydro jetting.
Do you service commercial buildings? â–¾
Yes. We offer the same HVAC maintenance, HVAC replacement, and plumbing services at your business that we do for homes, including hydro jetting and water line repairs.
What services do you offer overall? â–¾
We repair, replace, and maintain HVAC systems and plumbing for residential and commercial customers across Fresno, Visalia, and Sacramento.
What areas do you service? â–¾
In the Central Valley, we cover Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Visalia, Hanford, Tulare, Sanger, Kingsburg, Selma, and the surrounding towns. In Northern California, we serve Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rocklin, Loomis, Elk Grove, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, El Dorado Hills, and Granite Bay, among other nearby communities.
What's included in a plumbing inspection? â–¾
With a Club Advantage membership, which starts at $24.99 a month for one unit, a visual plumbing inspection is included. A plumber walks through your home and checks that everything is in good working order.
What brands do you work on? â–¾
We service and install all major HVAC brands, including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Bryant, American Standard, Goodman, Daikin, and York. On the plumbing side, we work with Moen, Delta, Kohler, Rheem, Navien, Rinnai, AO Smith, and more.
How long has Lee's been around? â–¾
Lee's Air has been serving Central and Northern California for over 40 years, since 1980. We've grown a lot since then, but the goal hasn't changed: serve our customers, our coworkers, and our community, and do good work while we're at it.
Do you still offer PG&E rebates? â–¾
Yes, we still help customers access rebates through PG&E and TECH Clean California. Funds run out, so it's worth asking sooner rather than later.
Are you open on holidays like Memorial Day or the 4th of July? â–¾
Yes. We stay open through Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and other holidays, because AC and plumbing problems don't wait for a day off.
Can I schedule service online or after hours? â–¾
Yes. You can book through our online scheduler, our chat box, or by filling out a form anytime. We also staff phones 24/7 if you'd rather talk to someone directly.
How soon can you get someone out for same-day or emergency service? â–¾
We staff our team year-round with seasonal demand in mind, so we can usually get someone to you same-day, and often within a few hours for real emergencies. Call us and we'll tell you the earliest slot we have.
What makes Lee's different from other HVAC and plumbing companies? â–¾
Our technicians are NATE and EPA-certified, and we pull the proper permits on every job instead of cutting corners. Pricing is flat-rate and quoted before we start, so there are no surprise hourly charges. Every job is backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee, with a 1-year warranty standard and 2 years for Club Advantage members. We also run a 24/7 call center, so you can reach a real person any time. We've been at this for over 40 years in Central and Northern California, and we've been recognized with the Best of Central Valley award for HVAC and plumbing.
What do I need to book an appointment, and how long does it take? â–¾
Have your name, address, phone number, email, and a quick description of the problem ready (things like "AC not cooling" or "leaky faucet" work fine). We'll also confirm you're the homeowner before scheduling. Booking usually takes 5 to 7 minutes, and you'll get a text and email confirmation once it's set.
How do I book online? â–¾
Click "Book Your Service Now," enter your zip code, and choose whether you need heating and cooling or plumbing. From there, fill in your contact info, describe what you need, and pick a time that works. You'll get a confirmation by text and email, with the option to add it straight to your calendar.
What's included in flat-rate pricing? â–¾
One price, quoted before we start, that covers labor, parts, and the overhead that keeps us running (trucks, insurance, our 24/7 call center, training). If a job takes longer than expected, you don't pay more for it. If our technician finds a separate issue while they're there, that gets its own flat-rate quote so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
Why don't you give ballpark pricing over the phone? â–¾
Because it's usually a guess, and not a great one. What sounds like a simple leaky faucet over the phone could be a worn washer or a cracked pipe behind the wall, and we won't know which until we're standing in front of it. Guessing low to win the job just means a frustrating surprise later, and guessing high isn't fair to you either. We'd rather send a technician out, diagnose it properly, and give you one accurate number.
What are your appointment windows, and how long do service calls take? â–¾
We typically offer 2 to 4 hour appointment windows so you're not stuck waiting around all day. A diagnostic visit usually runs about an hour. Minor repairs, like a faulty thermostat or a dripping faucet, are often done within 1 to 2 hours after that. Bigger jobs, like a water heater replacement or a major HVAC component, can take anywhere from a couple hours to a full day depending on what's involved.
